Making her showbiz comeback after the birth of her second child, Cecilia had accepted a number of movie roles, pocketing quite an amount of money. She is one of the highest paid Hong Kong actresses in recent years.
Cecilia and husband Nicholas Tse are known to be financially independent.
Recently, Cecilia had her sights set on the thriving property market in Hong Kong. On Apr 27, the actress spent RMB$128 million (approximately S$24 million) on a penthouse suite and a parking lot, making it the most expensive unit in the entire building.
The exclusive unit is newly renovated and has a big rooftop. Its surrounding is quiet and conducive, and includes a sea view. Many prestigious schools can also be found within the neighbourhood and would be suitable for Cecilia's sons, Lucas and Quintus.
When asked if the unit was for her own use or as an investment, Cecilia replied, "[This is] private, I'll not comment."
