A special mook, titled “Bekkatsu Kadokawa Souryoku Tokushuu Akimoto Yasushi“, will be released on April 28th, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at AKB48 producer Akimoto Yasushi.
The mook will cover the long history of Akimoto Yasushi as a television writer, AKB48’s producer, and lyricist. In addition to multiple interviews with Akimoto’s past and present staff, other professionals in the idol industry, and famous celebrities such as author Hayashi Mariko, an exclusive chat between Akimoto and Chikada Haruo will be compiled into this special release to reveal more about the man behind the wildly popular girl group.
AKB48 member Maeda Atsuko is displayed on the cover as a preface to the mook’s AKB48 gravure spread, which includes AKB48 members Oshima Yuko, Takahashi Minami, Watanabe Mayu,Sashihara Rino, Itano Tomomi, and more for full-color AKB48 eye candy.
The title of the spread is “AKB48 VISUAL SONG BOOK“, meaning that the girls will express the name of the song in as an alluring gravure picture.
