Actress Um Ji Won has appeared in a documentary program produced by BBC World, which is an international broadcasting channel operated by BBC, England's public broadcasting.
According to her agency on June 23, Um Ji Won was interviewed by the filming team of BBC World's documentary program entitled "The Third Eye" who recently visited Korea, and expressed her opinion on the Hallyu boom. Um Ji Won pointed out that Korean movies are gaining huge popularity due to their emotional aspects and unique subject matter. She said, "As Korean culture content is loved globally, the image of Korea could also be raised."
BBC World's "The Third Eye," which is broadcast worldwide, is a program series that introduces and throughly investigates those countries that stand out globally, and it will air a total of eight episodes on Korea this month.
