During the shoot of her album cover, she had an attack and was spotted to be trembling and sweating profusely. The sudden attack brought on by her fear for crowds caused her manager, Chen, to suffer a relapse in depression.
The 2010 Golden Melody award-winning Best Female Vocalist was seen filming her new MV at the busy Fu Xin MRT station. She started to breakout in cold sweat and shivers when she saw the crowd rushing about their usual commute.Her clothes was soaked in sweat and a hysterical A-Mei rushed into the middle of the crossroads.
Sources claimed that A-Mei pleaded with her company not to continue filming at that location for the MV. She explained that she cannot handle seeing large groups of people and will also break down in tears of frustration if she is sitting in a vehicle that is surrounded by fans.
Chen did not deny her condition during the shoot and said, "Working under a lot of pressure for her new album and having a phobia for crowds is two different things; A-Mei is much better now. She will perspire a bit more -- at the most. She will be more optimistic after the release of her album."
