Multi-talented Hong Kong singer-actress Elanne Kwong was recently in Singapore and Malaysia to film an upcoming movie, The Wedding Diary. She will be acting against Malaysian singer-actor A-Niu as a pair of newlyweds.
With a budget of S$1.2 million, this romantic comedy tells the story of a Malaysian who tries to throw a lavish wedding dinner with disastrous results. Elanne will be playing an assertive Singaporean lady, who habours high hopes on love.
While A-Niu is delighted to work with Elanne, the self-conscious one admitted at the movie launch that he does not understand why he was chosen by the production company to star as the male lead.
In an interview with xinmsn, Elanne expressed that she is also happy to work with A-Niu, whom she recognised through his songs.
After watching A-Niu's directorial debut Ice Kacang Puppy Love recently, Elanne openly admitted that she thinks he is boyish and cute.
Elanne also revealed that during a bridal shoot, prior to the first day of filming, A-Niu started blushing when he saw her and even avoided her in the initial few photos.
