We previously reported that fourteen members of AKB48 would be participating in a special “gravure battle” between rival publications Young Jump and Young Magazine, and now the first round results of “AKB48 Jinbocho Gokokuji Taisen” have been revealed!
Coming in first is the Young Magazine group YM7 with 120,071 votes, over ten thousand more than their rivals in Young Jump.
The team – which consists of Kasai Tomomi, Sashihara Rino, Takajo Aki, Miyazaki Miho, Takeuchi Miyu, Sato Sumire, and Komori Mika – seemed to have charmed readers with theircolorful, energetic photoshoot from March and their planet-themed spread earlier this month.
