The number uno rule is very simple, it’s called politeness and being well mannered. When you meet her family and you will, remember to wai them and smile. Avoid things like putting your arms around them, slapping them on the back or trying to shake hands with them western style. If the parents take a dislike to you, then your chances of getting into their daughters knickers will become slim.
One thing that will go down well is offering to pay for things. Not only does this make you jai kwaang generous, but you’ll also gain a lot of face. And in Thailand gaining face is always a good thing to do. When we say pay for things, some foreigners in the past have taken this to extremes, purchasing things like houses for bar girls. This is not what we’re on about here. What we’re talking about is things like buying a meal for the parents at a posh restaurant or taking her family out sightseeing for the day. So please don’t get too carried away with things!
Having a Thai girlfriend will eventually lead to you having to marry her. This you should be aware of right from the start. If you just want a bit of fun and your leg over better try Patpong!

Don’t flatter the knickers off your Thai Girl by saying overly sweet things to her like you are so beautiful, you have a lovely smile, you are so cute. She’ll see straight through this charade and it’ll make you appear to be a jow choo flirt or playboy. Those are traits that are not favoured by women in Thailand.
Don’t fall into the trap of moaning about Thailand and all things Thai. You’ll be seen as kee bon a moaner. This is one way to really annoy and bore your Thai girlfriend. She might even blow you out, and that won’t involve a pleasurable sexual act!
Last on my short list of no no’s is don’t cheat on her with other women! This is very important to remember. If you cheat on your Thai Girls she’ll never forget it. And it might even lead to you waking up one morning to find your joystick in the mouth of some hungry soi dog!
