About a few weekends ago, I met this native Korean girl in Busan, South Korea working at an Italian restaurant. I became interested in her once i saw her but i was so shy i asked a friend of mine to get it for me (i know, lame!). The next day i sent out a text telling her who i was (i did speak to her a few times that night so she know who i was once i told her about the details of our brief conversation). We then began sending several texts to each other throughout the day regarding the weekend in general. Fast forward to one weekend later, i send out another text asking how her weekend was and we go back and forth once again. It's been 2 days now since the last text. Should i be sending out more texts frequently rather than every week? if so, everyday or a few days apart? When should i finally ask her out on a coffee date? Im not sure how to approach this since this is the first time I'm trying to ask a native Korean girl out on a date as a foreigner living in her country. i definitely dont want to come off as a desperate douche looking for a one night stand but rather a serious relationship.
More info:
-She also has never dated a foreigner before so im not sure if it hurts me or not.
-She also recently ended a relationship with her previous boyfriend and told my friend who got her number that she wanted more time to herself.
-I asked her out on a coffee date the day after i met her through a text. The response i got was 'Maybe. We'll see^^' with the emoticon at the end. Im sure i should have waited to ask her that question. I'll probably wait a little longer until i ask again...
Any help regarding this situation is greatly appreciated!!!
