Do korean girls like white guys for marriage?

Is it normal to go to Korea for work and still stay open to meeting new people and possibly start a relationship? I would really like to go to Korea or Japan because the great stories I hear: good food, fast internet, advanced technology there. But if I go there I'll have to spend some time there, is it then reasonable that since I'm still single I might as well look for a wife there too?
