After a miscarriage in March, which caused her to lose her twin daughters, Kelly was reportedly ready to conceive again. When the doctors confirmed her health condition had improved in May, Kelly decided to try for artificial insemination again.
A couple of days ago, the Hong Kong media reported that the singer had conceived a pair of fraternal twins -- a boy and a girl -- successfully in June.
Responding to the rumour, Kelly's manager denied, "Of course not. Don't give her too much pressure. Give her some personal space. Be patient."
However, according to an insider, Kelly is definitely pregnant.
"When Kelly lost her twin daughters, she kept crying the entire day. She vowed not to go for artificial insemination again and considered conceiving naturally. Either a boy or girl would be good. However, she had always been an optimistic person. Not long later, she said she wanted to try again. This time, only after one try, she conceived a pair of twins again. One of them is girl," he let on.
The singer refused to admit she is pregnant because she is still haunted by her previous miscarriage.
"After her miscarriage, she became very careful with her words and is following the superstition of announcing her pregnancy only after the first three months. She had also been eating a lot of health supplements and does not dare to try any pregnancy diets. Once bitten, twice shy," the insider continued.
Kelly stayed at home for two weeks to concentrate on her pregnancy, after she finished her jobs in July. She was spotted last Friday (Aug 12) when she brought her son out to shop.
Decked in a long knitted jacket, Kelly's belly appeared slightly bloated, fuelling speculations that she is pregnant.
Furthermore, it was said that Kelly only took on commercial events. Most of the time, Kelly's manager would head over to the singer's house for meetings, so that she would not have to leave the house.
The singer is currently prepping for her new album with her last album release dating back to 2008. It is estimated to be completed by the end of the year.
