Joining the vast list of guests of honor at Anime Expo is voice actress and singer, Sawashiro Miyuki.
Sawashiro is known for her roles in anime series such as “Beelzebub“, “Angel Beats!”, “Durarara!!, “PERSONA -trinity soul-”, and “Arakawa Under the Bridge”, in which she portrays the character “Maria” and also performs the theme song.
Sawashiro is notably known as the voice of “Puchiko” in the series “Di Gi Charat – A Trip to the Planet” and “Leave it to Piyoko!“, as she is one of the few Japanese voice actors to have reprised a role in English in addition to the original Japanese performance.
To pay hommage to Sawashiro, Anime Expo will be showing a special screening of “Arakawa Under the Bridge”.
She will also be attending an attendee panel and fan meet-and-greet.
