One of the members of Girls Generation caused some concern at the recent concert in Japan -- the second performance of their Japan tour in Saitama Super Arena -- on June 5th. With an audience of 25,000, member Sunny had to leave mid-concert for the hospital.
According to Japanese newspaper Nikkan Sports on the 6th, Sunny had to come offstage mid-concert due to fatigue and was immediately taken to the hospital. However, she came back before the encore performance and showed tears as she apologized to her fans for missing a chunk of the show.
An SM Entertainment rep also shared that Sunny wasn't doing too well even before the concert and so many were worried about her condition. And sure enough, not long after she got on stage with the show's start, she had to come down. Thankfully, after getting checked at the hospital, the rep reassured fans that there were no major problems.
Sunny needs to catch up on her rest and get back to tip-top form as this health hiccup comes during their 6-city and 14-stop tour in Japan, which kickstated May 31st. She was rushed back to the hotel as soon as the concert ended to catch up on her rest.
