dont want come off as a sellout, but it makes me so sad when all my nieces and nephews say "I wish I was korean". Trust me I have tried hating them or better yet playing down their so called success in the mainstream media. Its just that how in the hell are they involved with so much? Im Viet and proud of it and am proud of all the accomplishments my brothers and sisters have acheived in America, but it just seems whenever I get so excited but their accomplishments I cant help but see that koreans either did it first or they were involved in some way (i hate that).
For instance I love the group Far east movement and I honestly thought "HAH, koreans cant make a group like this", and come to find out the group originated in K-town and was originally two koreans and one japanese guy. Just like I'm a fan of Dat Nguyen and was thinking koreans will never have a nfl player and comes to find out a korean was drafted in the first round by the Patriots five years before and the list goes on.
I tried hating their food but I cant help it its really good even their kimchi which I thought stunk at first. I also really hate the way korean girls cant give me the time of day but Viet girls seem to flock at my korean friends. This just sucks, I seriously want to start a revolution here. I like my korean friends but this is just too much.
